The past.
Personally I have 30 years in the IT industry, I started in the days of DEC PDP11 machines with a mighty 64K memory and 5Meg removable hard discs, the basic development requirement then was keen memory use which is a principal I carry with me to this day. Just because hardware is cheap does not mean that coders should be lazy in my opinion.
The Industry expertise.
The industry has grown greatly since then, and we have kept pace with the development growth. While good business logic is still at the hub of what we do, the tools available for conducting business are much more exciting specifically where the internet is involved. Value-web-design have developed web sites of a static nature as well as interactive sites. Many development tools and strategies were used through the changing platform years from the 80's many of which were proprietary. But from the Internet age and on the tools and providers used or interfaced with include; Microsoft Expression, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, ASP, PHP, MySQL, SQL Server, SAGE Accounts DB, Access DB, Microsoft Dynamics (on SQL Server), Crystal Reports, SQL Report Services to name but some.
The present value-web-design.
My intended retirement in Asia was short lived, I realised that I do not know how to retire and therefore setup
value-web-design in Thailand. I use my application development, project and man management skills to deliver value based web developments. Specific emphasis is placed by value-web-design on making use of open source applications. This empowers customers in there usability, costs and world wide support by large and growing community. Where the skills within value-web-design are not strong enough we make use of the plentiful local (and international) skills available to augment our service.
In all cases value-web-design will retain control of the project and the responsibility to supply the agreed project. We also offer online computer to computer support for our portfolio of products and systems.
