Our main business is website development as follows:
- Brochure, a 5 page web site, similar to this layout. Search Engine Optimisation, XHTML and CSS Validation and the site domain name submitted to Google Webmaster for search engine ranking. In the case where value-web-design are commissioned to produce the graphics they will be optimised for web use, all attempts at optimising of supplied graphic will be carried out should they be required.
- CMS, Content Management System (CMS) platform. Joomla is our preferred option for CMS, this is a free to obtain Open Source solution. There are other suitable solutions which we are able to deliver notably Drupal . These solutions are supported by most reputable hosting providers. For existing Joomla users we can create/amend templates, content, page layout and administer your site if required.
- Shop, again we use a free Open Source Solution called osCommerce. This product integrates shamelessly with Joomla to provide an extremely elegant solution. Alternatively we can produce an upgrade to your brochure site to enable order taking capability.
- Artwork, pictures, graphic backgrounds, logos, 3D images or animated. All can be produced or touched up and optimised on your behalf. Ask for samples of our work.
- Hosting, we can host your website whether you already have a domain name or not. Statistics reports supplied monthly.
- Support and Maintenance, individual or grouped computers and system can be included in a support plan which covers the soft side of the unit (not the physical hardware) various software packages can be added to the support plan if required. In some cases it is also a good idea to consider a maintenance plan for your website, this would be of benefit to customer who do not have the requisite skills at their site.
